I'm back!

So if you don't personally know me you would probably think, judging from my lack of blogging, the my pregnancy killed me. Not so. I have survived! I am almost 19 weeks in and am finally getting some relief! THANK GOD!! I had no idea that pregnancy could be that tough! I have lost 15 pounds but have finally put 3 of those pounds back on. We recently found out that our new baby will be...A GIRL! I am so excited! I can't stop the urge to buy every hair bow, or hat with big flowers on them! Oh, the pink and purple! As of now, I think we are going to name her Sydney Hope Tobler. I am tickled pink! Liam...not so much. :) He isn't quite sure about having to share his parents, house, attention, or toys. He loves babies though, so I am sure he will come around! He is a loving kid with a great heart, so I have no doubt he will love her the minute he sets his eyes on her.
Obviously a lot has happened since my last blog other than the announcement of our daughter. Liam had a great 3rd birthday. His Aunt Laurie, Amy, and Grandpa Bill all came. He had a blast!! Yesterday was Easter. We went to the Cheney's house and had a grand time! They are so good to us! Liam LOVES to go to their house!
I have quite a few funny stories that I need to put on here about Liam but I have so many photos to post that am going to do that instead. Hopefully I will continue to feel this good and be able to post again soon.
Much Love.

As you may have noticed, I have taken some time off from blogging. Well, actually, blogging, laundry, cooking, cleaning, and life in general. I am almost 11 weeks pregnant as of today. While I am pretty excited to have a new baby...I feel like death. This has hit me like a mac truck. Seriously, I had NO IDEA that it could be this bad. Vommit has become the norm for me, and that is not okay! I had such a great pregnancy with Liam. I hardly remember feeling sick, and now that "sickness" has been put in perspective...I was not sick then...THIS IS SICK. I firmly believe that everything in nature has a reason. If I had been this sick with Liam, I would have never done this again. Nature waits for you to fall for its cruel trick and believe that "I don't get sick when pregant" and then it kicks your pregnant butt. So please, if you are a praying person, keep me in your prayers. I feel like there is no end in sight, and I am so sick of being sick! And by all means, please pray for my new, tiny baby. By the grace of God, may it be getting some nutrients somehow!

"2, almost 3"

If you were to ask Liam how old he is today, his response would almost certainly be "2, almost 3." It's true. Liam will be 3 in a short month and a half. Where did the time go? Is it just me or do I ask that question every other blog??
Lately he has really been giving me a run for my money. He wants to make everything a fight. EVERYTHING. He test EVER boundary I put up. I mean EVERY BOUNDARY. I have to admitt it gets very tiresome and frustrating. But here is the great thing about my "2 almost 3" year old...he is smart. I mean really smart. So just when I think I am about to have steam come out my ears, he wises up. He wraps himself around my legs. "I love you Mommy. I sorry." How can you stay mad at that? Liam truly is a sweet soul. He is "2 almost 3" and that might be working against him right now but who he "really" is still shines through. He really is a smart, sweet, mild tempered, incredibly loving, and extremly happy kid. From the moment he was born, he was all of those things. He slept through the night the first night he was born. Never made a peep until the next morning. I remember being worried that he was so mild. I expected screaming and tears and lots of them. I guess he is making up for now but thats okay. I know my "2 almost 3" year old will be "3 almost 4" before I know it and this boundary testing problem will be behind us. So for now, I am going to stand my ground. He will most likely stand his too. But thats okay because I know who he is and we will get through this.

Not Me Monday...

I would never allow Liam to trash his toy room. I am raising a neat and responsible child. I always make him put up one toy before he gets another one out. Messy is not an option.

I always fold my laundry and put it up right away. I would never fold it, leave it sitting on the couch until I want to sit there, and then move it back into the laundry room...still clean. Who would do that? Not me, that's for sure.

I always mail my Christmas cards BEFORE Christmas.
I would never have them sitting on my counter in January...especially one for somebody I love as much as my sister!

I would never catch Liam and Maddox jumping on the blow up mattress and instead of punishing them, photograph it.

Who would encourage this kind of behavior by taking pictures?! Not me! That is just irresponsible parenting.

I do not have a goofy kid who walks around with one rain boot on, and one on his friend. That would be just goofy.

I did not tell the boys to hug which caused my son, who does not know his own strength, to pull a wrestling move on his younger buddy.
My son is ALWAYS gentle.

And if I hypothetically told them to hold hands instead, my sweet child of course wouldn't pull his hand away like a punk.
Liam is ALWAYS loving.

In order to aplogize my 2yr old would not rub his friends hair and say "Sorry little buddy!"
Not my son. My son does not think he is that much older than his 10 month younger friend. Nor is my son that goofy.

And lastly, my son does not throw fits. He would never throw himself on the floor when his afore mentioned freind didn't like having his head rubbed.
Nope, not my son. My son does not go from laughing to crying in 2 seconds flat. My son is perfect.

And of course, I do not allow the toddlers in my care to run around in their pjs until lunch time. We are on a very regimented schedule.

This is REAL life.
